Those are some Sweet Peas you got!!
One of our first bounties in the Spring are Sweet Peas! I love the bright green colour of them and the giant pods full of beautiful round goodness. I know they say the little ones are the sweetest but I always get a thrill when these giant big fat peas reveal themselves. To me the texture and flavour of these are the best!!
Pucker up for this Lemon Chicken!
This dish incorporates so many things I love but rarely eat! I figured if I’m going to splurge why not roll it all into one meal! Pesto, Pasta, Cream Sauce HELLOOOOO!!!!
What…no Pasta with my spaghetti and Meatballs?!?!
Looking back, I think I could comfortably say I’ve always had a slight addiction to pasta! What about it is so satisfying?
I can’t get Enough of this Sauce!!
This has been quite the weekend here in my household! My catering business is growing leaps and bounds which has required a ton of revamping within my house and building out space to accommodate my needs. Can anyone say I need a vacation! Every weekend right now seems to be taken up by renos and work.
This recipe is Pho-bulous!!!!
It’s a long weekend here in Canada, Victoria day weekend! So that meant something a little more special for Sunday brunch at the cottage this week. I’ve decided to go completely Paleo so other than the noodles and soy sauce (which I omitted for mine) this is a great recipe to adapt to your dietary needs.
There’s nothing crabby about this Lobster!
I have to say this has been a nutty week! I love my life (most of the time lol) and am infinitely grateful for all the opportunities I’ve had of late but sometimes I want to bury myself deeper into the mattress when the sun comes up. You all know what I mean right….the alarm goes and you feel yourself almost physically digging deeper into the mattress hoping maybe it didn’t happen or no one will notice your absence during the morning routine. It seems like the mantra in my head lately is “so much to do, so little time”! That said..LOBSTER Ravioli got me up today!
Oodles and Oodles of Zoodles (yup that’s the term for zucchini noodles)!!!
I have a minor (ok major) addiction for spiralized vegetables and zucchini tops the list for me. I’ve been eating them instead of pasta for about 10 years and I absolutely love them! When I make spaghetti and meat sauce I make ribbons with zucchini so it’s thicker and heartier to soak up the delicious sauce!
I really love that Thai Pie!!!
Is there anything better in the world than Mac and Cheese….yes….Thai Curry Mac and Cheese! This week I’ve been working with Thai Kitchen to create a recipe using their new Massaman Curry Paste and this is what I came up with.
I could eat this lemon-y Dish of Heaven Everyday!!
The simplicity and decadence of this dish shouldn’t be missed!!
Put the Pumpkin in the Pasta!!
This recipe will surprise you! Even when I started making it and adding things, I wasn’t exactly sure where it was going or how it would turn out. I’ve had variations of this in restaurants but never tried to recreate it at home before.
